Cultural Navigation is another Expedition project underpinned by our love of Russia and our sincere desire to further open up its great European and Asian borders. Our land is famous for its wonderful nature and unique monuments to the past. We have plenty to be proud of.
The vast Russian territories have been, and continue to be, home to great people: our grandfathers and great grandfathers fought and performed eternal feats of valour here. There are many places throughout Russia that connect to the lives and deeds of those who brought glory to our country in the past.
Many of these places are impossible to find on a map. In most cases only the locals know where they are. Our goal is to collect as many of these significant spots as possible and open them up to Russia and the rest of the world. Our goal is to learn something new; take pride in our country; involve those interested in our project and plan new expeditions through the vast territory that occupies 1/8 of the world’s dry land – this is what inspires us! And we say: Join us! Let this be a common cause for us all.
